Image Watermark

Add a text or logo watermark to one image or a whole batch, entirely in your browser. Pick a corner preset or drag the watermark anywhere, tune the font, color, outline, opacity, rotation and size, and export as JPG, PNG or WebP. Your photos are never uploaded.

Privacy-first: every image is processed locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, stored or transmitted to any server.

PixelVault’s image watermark tool lets you add a text or logo watermark to your photos entirely in your browser — no uploads, no account, no watermark on the watermarker. Whether you are protecting client proofs, branding product shots, or crediting your photography before it goes on social media, you can watermark a single image or a whole batch with identical settings in seconds.

Text watermarks are fully stylable: choose the font family, size, weight, italics, underline and letter spacing, pick a text color, and add an outline so the mark stays readable on both light and dark photos. Prefer a logo? Upload a PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG image — transparency is preserved — and control its scale and rotation. Both kinds support opacity, so the watermark can be a subtle signature or an unmistakable stamp.

Placement is precise and fast. Snap the watermark to any of nine positions — corners, edges or center — with an adjustable margin from the edges, dial in exact X and Y percentages, or simply drag it anywhere on the live preview. Sizes can be fixed pixels or a percentage of the image’s width or height, which keeps the watermark proportional across a batch of differently sized photos.

How it works

Your image is drawn onto a canvas in your browser, and the watermark — rendered text or your uploaded logo — is composited on top with your chosen opacity, rotation and position. The live preview uses the exact same rendering engine as the final export, just scaled down, so what you see is what you download. Batch mode repeats the identical render for every image and can bundle the results into a ZIP.

Why local processing matters

Watermarking is usually about ownership and control, so it would be ironic to hand your originals to a stranger’s server first. With PixelVault the unwatermarked originals never leave your device — there is nothing uploaded, logged or retained anywhere. It also means watermarking a hundred photos is fast: there is no upload queue, just your own hardware doing the work.

Supported formats

  • JPG — Smallest output for photos; flattened onto white.
  • PNG — Lossless, keeps transparency.
  • WebP — Small files with transparency support.
  • SVG / PNG logos — Accepted as watermark images with transparency preserved.

Common use cases

  • Brand product photos with a shop logo before listing them.
  • Protect client proofs and previews from unauthorized use.
  • Credit your photography before posting to social media.
  • Stamp documents or screenshots as “confidential” or “draft”.
  • Batch-watermark an entire shoot with one setup.

Frequently asked questions

Are my images uploaded to add the watermark?
No. The watermark is drawn onto your image locally using your browser’s canvas. Nothing is sent to a server.
Can I watermark many photos at once?
Yes. Drop in any number of images and the same watermark settings are applied to all of them. Download results individually or as a single ZIP.
Can I use my own logo as the watermark?
Yes. Upload a PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG logo. Transparent areas are preserved, and you can control its size, opacity and rotation.
How do I position the watermark?
Use the nine placement presets (corners, edges, center) with an adjustable margin, enter exact X/Y percentages, or simply drag the watermark on the live preview.
Is the watermark permanent?
Yes. The watermark is baked into the exported image’s pixels, so it cannot be removed from the downloaded file.
