Privacy Policy
The short version: your images never leave your device, and we don’t collect anything about you. PixelVault has no server that could receive, store or look at your files — every tool runs entirely in your browser.
Privacy-first: every image is processed locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, stored or transmitted to any server.
Your images stay on your device
Everything PixelVault does — compressing, converting, resizing, cropping, rotating, editing, blurring, watermarking, analyzing and removing metadata — happens locally in your browser, using your own device’s processing power. Your images are never uploaded, transmitted, stored or seen by us. When you close the tab, they’re gone.
This isn’t just a promise: the site ships with a strict Content-Security-Policy that tells your browser to block requests to any other server. Even if we wanted to receive your images (we don’t), the browser wouldn’t let the page send them.
What we don’t collect
No accounts or sign-ups. No cookies. No analytics or tracking scripts. No ads. No fingerprinting. We couldn’t sell or leak your data even if we were careless, because we never have it in the first place.
Hosting and server logs
The site’s static files are delivered by Cloudflare. Like virtually every hosting provider, Cloudflare briefly processes technical request data (such as IP addresses) to serve the site and protect it from abuse — this is described in Cloudflare’s own privacy policy. We only ever see anonymous, aggregate statistics such as total request counts — never who you are, what you did or which images you worked on.
